FGS South Island English Meditation Class

The second term of the English meditation class on the afternoon of 17 June organized by Fo Guang Shan (FGS) South Island NZ attended by six English speaking people led by BLIA members, Ding LihSon, Bill and KokWei Low. Starting of the class, Bill led the students to learn 5 stances of Tai Chi which followed by Dings and KokWeis walking and sitting meditations. During the tea meditation, the practitioners prepared tea for the students to appreciate. The students observed their own heart and enjoyed a quiet moment during the event. Ding encouraged the students to use their heart to feel, removing distractions, concentrate on breathing and sit with a relaxed body during the meditation. The students were grateful as BLIA members gave their effort for them to gain more energy in meditation.
