Homecoming

Since the establishment of Fo Guang Shan (FGS) South Island NZ in 1993, there were many people from the public that came in to be Buddhist devotees and fate always bring them back. On 13th of August, a devotee, Advisor Yen Miaolan, who left Christchurch to Taiwan around ten years ago, came back with some of her friends to visit Fo Guang Shan South Island NZ by fate. FGS NZ Venerable Abbess Manshin, Venerable Juexi, Venerable Miaoyu welcomed her back and went through the exhibition of ¡°Yao Hong-Ying Embroidery Art Exhibition¡± with them. They have all cherished the time they have and in the end of this visit, Yen and her friends were presented the publication of ¡°Cloud and Water¡±, ¡°Way of Life¡± and FGS Young Adult Division Newsletter. In the end, Yen and her friends thanked all the Venerables and told them, it is a great feeling of ¡¸Homecoming¡¹ to this warm Buddhist Temple.
