佛光山開山星雲大師住世緣盡，2023年2月5日（正月十五日）於莊嚴念佛聲中，安詳捨報，享耆壽97歲。
即日起，謹於週二至週日上午9點至下午2點，開放弔唁，請有緣者至紐西蘭南北島佛光山追思緬懷。

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Founder, Venerable Master Hsing Yun, who passed away peacefully amidst the sounds of chanting on 5th February at the age of 97.
Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple NZ will be open for condolences from 9am to 2pm, from Tuesday to Sunday.
