21 June 2008 – Venerable Abbess Manshin was invited by Linda Chiang, Chairman of the BLIAYAD, and all participants to observe the rehearsal of their performance, which included break dancing and hand gestures, for the ‘2008 ANZBYC Life Growth Camp’, to seek her guidance and encouragement for the team.
Venerable Abbess Manshin feels great joy for the unity and energy of the youth. Their actions create a good impression to parents and visitors through the activities which enables the young people to explore their talents, team work and unity. The future of Buddhism relies on the youth, who are full of hopes and opportunity and more young people are encouraged to become Buddhists. The Abbess also praised the organizer of the BLIAYAD, Christchurch, for the especially composed song for the ANZBYC.
