366 days with Wisdom by Venerable Master Hsing Yun is widely praised in various circles in New Zealand

Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s English book “366 Days with Wisdom” is highly popular among people of all walks of life in New Zealand, who read the book to gain positive energy and inspiration for life. On August 16th, Qiu Wei, a hotel operator in Christchurch, came to Fo Guang Shan Christchurch and applied for 10 copies of “366 Days with Wisdom” to meet the needs of his hotel.

Qiu Wei placed the books in the hotel rooms for guests to read and they were very happy with it. Some even took the book with them, resulting in the hotel’s books gradually running out. Qiu Wei said that the Master’s book is very popular and has even become one of the indicators of high-quality hotels. They cherish the gift from Fo Guang Shan NZ and are willing to share it with more people who have affinity with it.

At the same time, Doreen, a friend of the Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery Christchurch, also visited the gallery on August 16th with her daughter and three grandchildren who returned from Australia. They were attracted by the fascinating content of “366 Days with Wisdom” and read the article for 16th August, which they found very meaningful. As a result, Anna, Doreen’s daughter, and her two granddaughters, Renee and Shannon, each bought a copy, saying that they wanted to share the Master’s wisdom with their friends and colleagues.

Under the leadership of Venerable Abbess Manshin, the Fo Guang Shan temples in Auckland and Christchurch launched the “366 delivery team” book-giving activity in 2015. With the concerted efforts of BLIA members and volunteers, over 20,000 copies of “366” have been given away to more than 190 towns, over 800 hotels, hospitals, prisons, nursing homes, libraries, and other institutions across the country, sharing the wisdom of the Master with the people of New Zealand. During this time, many books placed in hotels were taken by guests, resulting in shortages, and the team would periodically replenish the supply. Some business owners also personally came to the temple to request books. Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s wisdom has thus spread to every corner of New Zealand, dissipating anxiety and opening the power of wisdom.
