Venerable Rulian guided ten members of the Public Relations Study Group through the discussion topic,’Living with Happiness.’ The group said that it is more important to them to obtain the right view and take refuge in their faith and belief than to have money, love and a good name, particularly in New Zealand, which is a multi-cultural country, where people have different ways of life and that through good conditions they can overcome the various obstructions.
Venerable quote Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s words, encouraged the members to raise their morality and make a vow to be a Bodhisattva; to have compassion in their eyes and be aware of the gloomy faces of sentient beings; to have good listening ears when sentient beings call for help and with a pure mind, understand their ultimate suffering. If they are able to apply infinite Buddhist methods in their daily lives they will be clear and mindful in any present moment to walk each step.
