This meeting was held on Sunday 22 June and attended by the Venerable in Charge, Venerable Manwang; the Chairmen of East 1 and East 2, Joanna Chiang and Alan Young respectively and 20 other BLIA members, to discuss the Lantern Festival which will be held during mid September.
The items discussed were:
1.The topic of the festival, the content and advertisement
2.Children’s Wonderland and games for parents and children
3.The installation of Song Dynasty stalls
4.Ways in which to encourage members to create and make different kinds of lanterns and lights to be displayed and decorate several venues
