In response to the continual spread of the COVID19 epidemic, the 2021 BLIA World Headquarters General Conference will continue the format of last year through the online conference. The main organiser convene members of various regional associations to record the theme song Peace and Love. On 8th August, BLIA North Island Chapter rehearsed the song and recorded the video under the leadership of the BLIA North Island Chapter President, Lintao Yu. Nearly 50 participants consisting of the Sub-Chapter Presidents, Committees, BLIA members, and youths participated in the song rehearsal.
BLIA members first learned the hand gestures taught by youth leader Edwin. They then started the official video recording at the courtyard. Even though it was cold, everyone still participated enthusiastically and successfully completed the recording
Chief Senior Advisor of BLIA North Island Chapter, Han said that the lyrics of this year’s theme song We are One – The World Is My Home we can see Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s idea of Oneness and Coexistence. BLIA members around the world should work together to use Peace and Love to actively face the challenges posed by the epidemic and to ignite hope and warmth for society through singing.
