Localisation Efforts by Promote various FGS and BLIA South Island NZ events to Wharenui School

In order to promote the 3G4G Festival of Cultural Sharing Festival in year 2021, Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) South Island NZ committee Director Kok-Wei Low went to Wharenui Primary School on 4 November to promote two major activities 2020 Green Flea Market Vegefest and Laba Congee Sharing activity which were organised by Fo Guang Shan temple and BLIA New Zealand activities to the school.

Associate Principle Rosalie Dyksma, appreciate for the invitation and she praised the BLIA South Islands’ contribution toward the community. After a brief explanation by Kok-Wei, she appreciate the concept of 3G4G Festival of Cultural Sharing Festival, decided to sign up for their students in participating and encouraging them to learn about diverse cultures as well as religious.

To express her support for the other events, Rosalie had asked for 10 entry tickets for the 2020 Green Flea Market Vegefest for their school staff to participate. She also printed out the posters for both activities and promote them on their school notice boards. Rosalie also gave Kok-Wei a quick tour visit on their school’s building as an introduction as well as a better understanding toward their school culture.
