7 June 2008 – Linda Chiang, the Prisdent of Buddha’s Light International Association Young Adult Division (ANZBYC) with 20 had a meeting to discuss the organization of ‘2008 ANZBYC Life Growth Camp’ which will be held during early July 2008 in Christ Church. Venerable Rulian, the Guiding Reverend advised all the participants regarding: 1. Buddhist Manners and Etiquette during the conference. 2 Items required. 3. Occupational Health and safety. 3. Timetables, Performances and Rehearsal. Venerable Rulian stated thatVenerable Abbess Manshin is glad to see that although participants are under 20 years old, they joined the camp with much energy and passion. Because of their sense of responsibility, enthusiasm and idealism, they have the full support of their parents. Through team work, they will be able to explore their talents and creativity in working out their hand gestures in their performances. Venerable Abbess Manshin wishes that the youth are able to gain experience, improve leadership skills and obtain a border mind view.
