7 June 2008 – During the Weekley Assembly of the Chinese School, the vice Principle Nancy Lai took the opportunity to give a brief introduction regarding the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival and the cultural activities of its celebration, as the festival will be on the next day, Sunday, 8 June 2008. Through the story, the students are being educated about the significance of patriotism. Christina Liang, taught preschool students from the age of 3 to 5 how to make ‘7 colors biscuit dumplings’ with color papers, ribbons and biscuits. So that the children are able to have a deeper impression and understanding of the ‘Dragon Boat Festival’ through their art work.
