After the delivery of Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s book, ‘366 Days with Wisdom’, initiated by Fo Guang Shan Christchurch in 2015, many hotel owners have asked if more books could be delivered to refill ones that have been taken by their guests.
As a result, this afternoon, the “366” delivery team volunteer, Craig Dee and Sydney volunteer Stacey delivered the book to 20 hotels that have requested for a refill.
Many of the hotel managers have expressed that the book have been very popular and well received by their international guests, including Alcala Motor Iodge, in particular, English-speaking backpackers. They had 11 books originally and only 2 are left now. Lorenzo Motor Inn and Colonial Inn Motel have told the volunteers that quite a lot of their guests have asked where they could purchase more copies of the book and would like to know where the temple is located.
Casino Court Motor Inn has told the volunteer that the book is more frequently read than a lot of other reading materials. It is hoped that the book will spread the beautiful message of Humanistic Buddhism to the world.

On 2nd May, Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple Christchurch <<366 Days with Wisdom>> Delivery Team Volunteer, Craig and Stacey, delivered 30 more books to 4 hotels in Christchurch as requested by the hotels.
Among the four hotels, 101 Stars Motel owner has told the volunteer that many of her guests have asked where they could purchase the book from. The owner would happily introduce and invite them to visit Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple Christchurch.
Tower Junction Motor Lodge owner, Phyllis, warmly welcomed the delivery volunteers, and took the volunteer on a quick tour around the hotel, expressing her welcome to all the overseas Fo Guang Shan members to stay at her hotel.
Tui Lodge and Belle Bonne Motel owners thanked the volunteers for delivering the popular books and expressed that they would place the books in every guest room to benefit more traveller sin the future.
